Atlas is navy the way deep water is navy — dark, but not flat. Bands of burnt orange and teal break the indigo, and a diamond weave runs the length of the cord in navy, ochre and cream.
The earphones are Apple's. The cable is ours. We start with a sealed set of Apple EarPods and wrap the cord by hand, thread over thread, until nothing of the original plastic shows.
