Amalfi is a citrus grove the morning after rain. Forest green cord runs beside a paler green, both bound in bands of lime, gold and deep green, and the beads look picked rather than placed — kiwi slices cut clean through, avocado halves with their stones still in, glassy barrels that catch the light, and small round fruits hanging from clusters of lime seed beads.
